Sisters Organize for Survival mobilizing meeting
Tax the rich, not the poor!

Learn about the progress of the SOS education campaign on why regressive taxes, such a higher sales tax, are not the solution for the poor and most vulnerable. Find out how you can help spread the word that legislators must not make any cuts in services or jobs and that taxing the wealth is the answer. Working and low-income people deserve better solutions than mounting taxes.

A panel of activists will pay tribute to the mobilized ranks of grassroots women who are fighting for equality, radical alternatives to politics as usual, and economic justice from the Occupy and Slutwalk movements to the streets of the Middle East.
